Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing LSMS Mental Health. Please review the following terms before booking: 1. Appointment Confirmation All appointments must be scheduled through our secure online platform. You will receive an email confirming your booking. 2. Evaluation Disclaimer Booking an appointment does not guarantee approval for services such as Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letters. A licensed mental health professional will evaluate you, and services will only be provided if clinical criteria are met. 3. Payment Authorization A temporary authorization hold will be placed on your card when booking. You will only be charged if you are approved and choose to proceed. If not approved, the hold will be released. Most banks return funds within 3–5 business days, though it may take up to 7–10. 4. Rush Services Clients who request delivery of an ESA letter within 24 hours must select expedited service at checkout. A $24.99 non-refundable rush processing fee applies. 5. Insurance Policy If you plan to use insurance for your session, please verify coverage in advance. If your insurance provider denies or does not cover the charge, you are fully responsible for the cost of the service. 6. Cancellations & Rescheduling Appointments can be canceled or rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance without penalty. Late cancellations may result in forfeiture of the appointment and any associated fees or authorization holds. 7. No-Show Policy Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice may result in restrictions on future bookings and forfeiture of any rush or service fees. 8. Confidentiality All personal and clinical information is handled in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Your privacy is a top priority, and your data will only be used for professional and service-related purposes.
